About Stopping Cry's
Darika Brown is our President, she's an Inglewood High Alumnus, a Southwest College Alumnus, and an Ashford University Alumnus. She's published 6 books on Amazon. She has poetry published in three other books, written by other writers. She's committed to being a great role model for the youth.
Derrick Brown is our financial officer; he has over 20 years in business management. He understands social issues pertaining to poverty in urban communities. He's held the title of business owner since 2016. He's been a great advisor for 28 years.
Brenda Peterson is our secretary; she has decades of experience serving the community with her church. She's a lovely mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She's hardworking and determined to pass the torch to the next generation. She's worked in the railroad and school industry to provide for her family.
