About Us

Jordan Farmar, basketball star and former NBA champion, is a Los Angeles native and a former player for the Los Angeles Lakers and UCLA Bruins, who is committed to giving back to the community that has given him so much. Our Foundation changes lives by promoting educational, physical, emotional well-being, teamwork, tolerance, responsibility, an environmental awareness.  We are committed to the health, hope, and healing of children in need.  Our tutoring and Test-prep center, opening this fall, will bring additional services to the community as we bring year round educational enrichment programs to Crenshaw and West Adams.

We envision a community where all children live healthy, environmentally responsible lives, while thriving in an increasingly diverse world. We take pride in encompassing children from various backgrounds and teaching them through the common language of education and basketball.  We have provided scholarships for up to 40% of our campers each camp session who are welcomed from a variety of organizations including: The Department of Child and Family Services, Union Rescue Mission, YMCA, and The Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and many others.  It is incredibly important to us to offer scholarships for children who would not otherwise be able to attend a life changing camp like this. We envision a community where all children live healthy and environmentally responsible lives, while thriving in a diverse community.
