The M.N. Stewart & C. B. Riley Foundation is a self-help and charitable foundation founded in 2007. The focus of our foundation is awarding university and college scholarships to high school seniors who are studying STEM subjects and have maintained at least a 3.4 GPA in high school. Students applying for scholarship must have applied to and been accepted by an accredited college and university in the United States of America. We also offer tutoring to high school seniors in English and math who are preparing for academic testing . Our volunteer staff meet with students at public libraries to offer our tutoring services. In addition, we go on missions to sub-Saharan Africa to deliver clothes, school and medical supplies to rural communities in our services areas. We have gone on missions to Kenya, Ethiopia, Senegal, Ghana, and the Gambia. Most of our missions have been to Senegal and Ghana, but we have also made donations of school supplies and clothes in Belize in Central America.JIJUMA Global Travel Services & International Language Center, was founded in 1999 to teach international languages to foreign students visiting Los Angeles as well as to local students wanting to learn other languages. For more than twelve years, our primary focus was the teaching of languages, in recent years, however, our primary focus has been on local and international travel. Through travel, we encourage languages students to use their language skills. JIJUMA Global Services works with The Stewart and Riley foundation to organize and escort tourists on pilgrimages to West Africa and other parts of the world. We have escorted more than twenty groups to sites domestically and to West and East Africa. We are now recruiting university students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) to go on work study tours to Ghana and Senegal. Our next tour to Ghana and Ivory Coast is scheduled for November 2017. We also conduct walking tours throughout downtown Los Angles and Hollywood. JIJUMA Global Services assist clients with planning events from reunions to conferences by findings proper venues and location and working out all administrative details.
